Maintenance Superintendent

Redpath Mining is seeking an experienced Underground Maintenance Superintendent to lead our maintenance team at the Norseman operation. This role oversees all underground mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, team performance, and strong safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and mentor underground mechanical personnel
• Manage repairs, servicing and breakdown investigations for underground equipment
• Oversee training, assessments and recruitment of mechanical staff
• Drive safety performance, including inspections, ICAM investigations & reporting
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and daily progress reporting
• Coordinate capex, asset disposal, plant requests, purchase orders & supplier forms
• Conduct toolbox talks, pre-starts and contribute to continuous improvement
• Review and maintain critical spares inventory

What You’ll Bring

• Mechanical trade qualification or relevant tertiary qualification
• Underground mining maintenance experience
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Manual driver’s licence
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Ability to hold a National Police Clearance
• ICAM qualification
